What Restrictions Lifted Today in Georgia and What Stays Effective

According to the decision of the Interagency Council of the Government of Georgia, from today, a number of restrictions imposed on the spread of coronavirus will be lifted. In particular:

From today, following outlets will open in Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti and Telavi:

- Municipal transport (except weekends);
- Schools;
- Shops and malls(except weekends);

In Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Rustavi:

- Shops and malls (except weekends) from 10:00 to 19:00.

Only outdoor food outlets in Adjara will be opened as an exception.

In the rest of Georgia, restaurants will continue to operate with the existing restrictions. They can still work with the takeaway service.

From today, regular air traffic will be restored.

Rules are revealed that foreign visitors will have to follow when arriving in the country as Georgian citizens.

Reminder: Effective:

- The so-called Curfew (from 21:00 to 05:00);
- Restrictions on winter resorts;
- Regular transportation of passengers by intercity transport is prohibited.
