Vaccinated Citizens to Enroll in Lottery and Win Cash Prizes

A lottery will be drawn for vaccinated people. Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, stated about it at a webinar for media representatives.

He said details will be known by September and work is underway with the Ministry of Finance working with the lottery company.

At the same time, according to Gamkrelidze, it would be good if such organizations would hold such raffles.

"As for incentives and lotteries, this issue was discussed at the previous meeting of the council. The Ministry of Finance reported that an announcement will be made on September 1, when the so-called Permanent lottery to encourage people with certain cash prizes. A scheme and other details are drawn up. The lottery company will have a connection with our bases to identify people who have been vaccinated once or twice and, accordingly, lotteries will be held. An official announcement will be made in early September, the Ministry of Finance is actively working with the lottery company,"Gamkrelidze said.
