"Tool" - a Series of Pictures by David Kukhalashvili as a Symbol of Ruling People

"Tool" is the name of series of Georgian artist, Davit Kukhalashvili. The pieces with their visual language and symbols convey how government and other institutions rule the people. Objects which have a metaphorical meaning are used against us - they force us to obey.

"I wanted to express metaphorically, how people are ruled. Slavish qualities are formed and in fact, they themselves agree with it.", noted Davit Kukhalashvili.

The artist was working on series for eight years. The exhibition is not held yet, however, Dedika Gallery enabled us to see the pieces.
