Theaters Schedule Plays on Weekends Due to Curfew

Theaters will open in Georgia from April 1, although due to the regulations in force in the country, they will work only on weekends.

Ekaterine Mazmishvili, director of the Marjanishvili Theater, believes that this is the most optimal decision at this stage, as the curfew will not allow them to receive spectators on other days.

"People have to go home because of the curfew, they shouldn't feel on edge. Public transport is full and roads are very crowded in the evening, which is why we schedule weekend performances at 4pm and people can easily get home. In addition we will have a different layout of chairs due to the regulations. The spectators will get a ticket by skipping one chair, ”Mazmishvili explained.
