Tbilisi Wedding Ceremony Shaped 5 New Clusters
The recent big wedding ceremony in Tbilisi has generated 5 new clusters, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted.
As a result, the Government has made corresponding amendments to the resolution and banned wedding ceremonies with the participation of over 10 persons. “As for ceremonial events, we understand that certain discomforts will arise and our citizens may be irritated, but we should know that only one wedding ceremony that was held at one of the Tbilisi restaurants generated five new clusters.
We have one growing cluster in Tsageri, one in Kutaisi, Zugdidi, and so on. We expect the number of infection cases to increase in these locations and in all cases, the clusters were shaped by wedding ceremonies. We were made ban events with the participation of over 10 persons in order to save the life of our citizens”, Giorgi Gakharia noted.
