Tbilisi City Hall to Restore Mtatsminda Mountainside together with Cartu Foundation
Tbilisi City Hall plans to restore the Mtatsminda Mountainside together with Cartu Foundation, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze noted.
The project budget is 16 million GEL and about 700-hectar territory will be greened, Kaladze noted.
As part of the agreement with Cartu Foundation, Tbilisi City Hall will launch restoring the capital city heart – Mtatsminda Mountainside. We have serious ecological challenges in Tbilisi. Pine trees planted tens of years ago are in heavy condition and they should be replaced.
Our key objective is to transform Mtatsminda Mountainside into four-season landscape”, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze noted and thanked Bidzina Ivanishvili and his family for support.
