Tbilisi City Hall to Restore Color Panel on Melikishvili Avenue

The color-decorated panels will be restored at the crossroad of Melikishvili Avenue and Janashia street in Tbilisi.

As noted by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the initiative group of local residents has proposed to restore the panel that illustrates the extract from Ilia Chavchavadze’s verse.

"It is excellent that such our people demonstrate active engagement. We are ready to arrange this issue. Besides cultural value, this verse By Ilia Chavchavadze demonstrates the idea of Georgian statehood, Georgian identity.

This issue will be resolved soon and the panel will be restored. We should find all similar panels and mosaics and restore all of them because they used to beautify our capital”, Kakha Kaladze noted.
