Tamar Gabunia: Vaccination will Start in February
Deputy Minister of Healthcare, Tamar Gabunia declared, that Georgia has ordered one and a half million doses of vaccine via COVAX platform, perhaps, its delivery will not be completed at once.
"We've ordered doses of vaccine on COVAX platform for the 20% of our citizens, but it will not be delivered eventually. At first, 50,000 doses of vaccine will be available in the country. As for Pfizer, we imply a more limited group. Approximately 20,000 doses of vaccine will be available for the 10,000 target group, which will include healthcare professionals.", declared Tamar Gabunia.
According to her, vaccination will start in February.
