Reopening of shopping malls and markets not planned at this stage
The shopping malls and markets are the biggest concentrators of consumer mobility, therefore reopening of malls and markets is not planned at this stage, – Business Ombudsman Mikheil Daushvili said after meeting with representatives of shopping malls and markets. The business ombudsman’s office released this information.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the group of labor inspectors will conduct a preventive check of each facility before its opening and, if necessary, will issue additional recommendations.
”The shopping malls and markets are the biggest concentrators of consumer mobility, so the risks are high therefore reopening of malls and markets is not planned at this stage. However, we agreed that each facility will fully comply with the standards set by the Ministry of Health so that the opening of this business will not pose additional epidemiological risks, “- said the Business Ombudsman.
According to the decision of the Georgian government the reopening of shopping malls and markets is planned for the fourth and fifth stages of the restriction lifting plan.
