Rehabilitation of Modinakhe Fortress to be Finished

Rehabilitation processes of Modinakhe fortress are finished.

On the ground of project documentation of cultural heritage statue rehabilitation, which was prepared by the architectures financed by the local board, physical work was done by Ltd "Kirtkhuro". The rehabilitation processes were funded by "Cartu".

As a result of the work, every eroded outer of both towers was resurrected by authentic building material. They settled the laying with mortar. The wall of the fortress was restored partially too. 

Rehabilitation of the fortress began in Spring 2018 and finished in 2019. 

Modinakhe is a Georgian fortress located high on the mountain in the city of Sachkhere in Imereti, Georgia.
