Prime Minister: We Invite Online Workers from 95 Countries to Georgia
“We are inviting online workers of global companies to stay in Georgia for at least 180 days and fulfill their obligations from Georgia in digital format”, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted at the August 27 Government meeting.
The National Tourism Administration will unveil details later, he added.
“The National Tourism Administration has a very good undertaking called “Work from Georgia”. Amid the global pandemic, more and more transnational corporations and global companies engage in the distant and online working regimes and geographical locations do not restrict people to execute their duties and obligations from any point in the world.
Therefore, we offer this program to 95 countries – “Work from Georgia”. This signifies that we can convert our achievements in virus management into specific revenues for the tourism sector”, Gakharia noted.
The Government will do its best to provide full safety and comfort for them in Georgia. The Work from Georgia program has been downloaded in stopgov.ge platform, Giorgi Gakharia noted.
