Pregnant Women Can Be Vaccinated with Pfizer - Paata Imnadze
According to Paata Imnadze, Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control, pregnant women can be vaccinated with Pfizer, but not with Sinopharm and Sinovac.
"Clinical trials on pregnancy have not been completed and until the studies are not finished, pregnant women can't be vaccinated with Sinovac and Sinopharm. Pfizer's instruction reads, that after the consultation with a doctor, pregnant women who are in a risk group can also get a vaccine.
This means, that currently, pregnant women can be vaccinated with Pfizer, but not with Sinopharm and Sinovac.", noted Paata Imnadze.
