Nikoloz Gagua Becomes Vice President of National Bank of Georgia
According to the decision made by the board of the National Bank of Georgia, Nikoloz Gagua takes the position of the third Vice President of the National Bank from August 2nd.
Nikoloz Gagua will head the Securities Market Supervision Department at the National Bank.
Nikoloz Gagua was a Deputy Minister of Finances in recent years.
According to the Organic Law on the National Bank of Georgia, the Board of the National Bank consists of nine members.
The members of the board are elected by the Parliament on the recommendation of the President of Georgia for a term of seven years.
The Vice Presidents are appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the President of the National Bank.
