New Logo of Georgian Film - Made in Saatchi&Saatchi Tbilisi

The film studio "Georgian Film" has a new logo. Author is graphic designer of Saatchi & Saatchi Tbilisi, Lasha Giorgadze. The inspiration came from traditional ornament preserved in manuscript of the 10th century. As a result, he created the symbol adapted to film.

"According to the brief, the logo must have been dynamic and, definitely, full of Georgian characteristics, for instance, with its shrift or symbols. I began researching Georgian ornaments and chose one of the fragments of headbands, which would visually well be adapted with film. In the process of creating the shrift, I tried the ornament to have Georgian characteristics and simultaneously, be contemporary.", noted Lasha Giorgadze.

Creating the logo for film studio, which has 100 years of history, was a big responsibility for him, as he states, but as an outcome both parties were satisfied.
