MTM to Build New Cableway in Hatsvali

MTM company has won the simple purchase tender to build Hatsvali-Zuruldi's new cableway.

The company will invest EUR 8.665 million in the project implementation. According to the tender documents, today, Hatsvali-Zuruldi cable is amortized and broken and it cannot provide continuous and safe services in summer or winter for visitors. As a result of a long overloaded working regime, the local road has gone out of order.

The new project also calls for boosting the visitor's inflow and the working capacity of the Hatsvali-Zuruldi cableway. The new type of gondolas for 10 persons will increase the hourly turnover of passengers to 2,400 persons from 1,800. The new cableway will open for the 2021-2022 skiing season.
