Ministry of Healthcare Purchased 117,000 Rapid tests

Within the frameworks of the project "World Bank Group’s Operational Response to COVID-19 (coronavirus), Ministry of Healthcare purchased 117,000 rapid tests.

As Tinatin Khardziani, Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia explains, the tests are used for epidemiological control of international truck drivers and will be divided up for groups for special purpose.

"As part of the project of Operational Response to COVID-19, the ministry purchased 50,000 antigen tests produced in Korea, and also 67,000 antibody tests registered by Greenlab. I would also like to point out that the Korean company "Biosensor" provided 5,000 antigen/antibody tests free of charge, for which I would like to thank them.", declared Tinatin Khardziani.
