Minister of Health: Curfew Won't Be Lifted in Georgia Yet
It's not planned to lift the curfew yet. The Minister of Health said this while answering a question from journalists today.
According to Ekaterine Tikaradze, the country has no reason and luxury to take such a step, because the pandemic is still active in Georgia and around the world.
"We observe that significant restrictions taking place in European countries, while we have significant eased them in Georgia," Tikaradze said. According to her, the epidemiological situation in the Guria region is noteworthy, so the Ministry plans to give recommendations to the local authorities, which is necessary to prevent further restrictions in the region.
According to the Minister of Health, when there is a pandemic, the health of the population is a priority and further decisions will be made according to these priorities.

The daily positive rate, according to which the Interagency Coordinating Council makes decisions on lifting or easing restrictions, decreased to 1.43 percent.
