Mikheil Chkhenkeli: New Academic Year will Starts on September 15

Statement of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “I am glad to inform you that the unified national, master's and teaching exams have been successfully completed. These examinations were organized at the highest level, in strict compliance with the medical protocol. Our ministry has done its best to conduct the exams in a perfect academic and safe environment.

Also, I would like to mention that the interest of all entrants was protected as much as possible during the exams. As you know, an unprecedented thing happened during the national exams: we conducted the exam in one of the hospitals where the entrant was infected with Covid-19 and this exam was also successful. In general, the process was successful.

I would like to thank all the people, all the agencies that were involved in organizing the exams. As you know, the publication of the results has already begun and I once again want to take this opportunity to wish them all success.

I would also like to make an important statement: Due to the current epidemic situation, the learning process in schools, classrooms will start on September 15, as usual. The academic year in universities will also start in the auditoriums. "
