May 4-11 Declared a Holiday in Georgia

The Interagency Coordinating Council recommends employers to work remotely, and the period from May 4 to 11 will be declared a holiday in Georgia.

At the council meeting on April 9, it was noted that the increase in the infection rate is significant and requires a responsible approach by both the government and the citizens.

According to the members of the council, at this stage the epidemiological situation in Georgia is unfavorable, but it is fully manageable. Restrictions on movement from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. remain in force.
