Lana Gogoberidze Gets Award of Order of Art and Literature Officer 

France awarded Lana Gogoberidze with the Order of Art and Literature Officer. Diego Colas presented the award to the legendary Georgian film director.

"Life is filled with heavy stories, especially, our reality. When something like this is encountered, it is pleasant. For one such thing, it is already a link between France and Georgia. I consider this important as well.", noted Lana Gogoberidze.

Gogoberidze's fiction and documentary movies have won several international awards. Her film Day Is Longer Than Night was entered into the 1984 Cannes Film Festival. In the same year, she was a member of the jury at the 34th Berlin International Film Festival.
