Irakli Garibashvili to Host Ambassador of Czech Republic
Minister of Defence of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili hosted the ambassador of the Czech Republic.
Peter Mikiska and Irakli Garibashvili discussed the matters of bilateral collaborations and future plans. Minister of Defence of Georgia thanked Peter Mikiska for supporting Euroatlantic aspirations and contribution in developing defence possibilities.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, parties pointed out collaborations between NATO and Georgia. Irakli Garibashvili stated, that potential collaboration between The North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Georgia is utterly important for foreign affairs and politics of safety.
As minister declared, Georgia continues efficient collaboration using every necessary mechanism, which promotes the transformation of defence and preparing Georgia for joining the alliance.
The minister of defence marked out, that in the last two decades, the collaboration between Czech Republic and Georgia develops gradually. He also expressed preparedness for strengthening contacts.
