Haraki to Open in Wine Factory N1

New space "Haraki" opens in Wine Factory N1.

According to the founder of Haraki Theatre Company, Mariam Megvinetukhutsesi, a similar type of theater company is quite popular in England and hopefully, this location for that kind of facility will be successful.

"I and my husband came to Georgia from London in 2015 and we wanted to found a new company, which would not work as a standard classical theater, but would be a team that would do everything together, such theaters are very successful in England. That is why our theater is called a theater company. The main working principle of the team is research, self-knowledge, professional development, collaboration, and experimentation.

The audience got acquainted with the company through our first play - "Resident" by Jemal Karchkhadze. The performance was held in the modern art space "Maudi".

Due to the pandemic, we were unable to continue working processes. During a one-year pause, we decided to establish the space in a permanent location. Space, in which we will be working, will be located at 1 Vasil Petriashvili Street, on the territory of Wine Factory."
