“Green Georgia” Campaign Expands with Olive Tree Planting in Tbilisi Cathedral Courtyard

As part of the “Green Georgia” initiative, launched by the Patriarchate Foundation and supported by the National Forestry Agency, clergy and laity planted around 30 olive trees in the courtyard of the St. Spyridon Trimifunteli Cathedral.

The “Green Georgia” Foundation was established in 2013 with the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia. The National Forestry Agency has been cooperating with the Foundation for several years, and joint projects are expected to be actively implemented in the future.
