Government Permits Culture Events for about 200 Persons in Outdoors Space; All Other Restrictions Lifted on July 13
As decided by the Government’s interdepartmental coordination board, led by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, starting July 13, citizens are authorized to resume conducting culture events for no more than 200 persons in outdoor spaces, under the Health Ministry recommendations.
Furthermore, at the July 13 meeting, the board permitted organizations and citizens to hold repetitions in indoor spaces, under the Health Ministry recommendations.
Furthermore, Labor Inspection of the Health Ministry continues inspecting swimming pools, fitness centers and hotels, as well as restaurants. Under the current indicators, more than 1000 hotels have obtained licenses and several tens of swimming pools and sports centers.
The board continues supervising the current epidemiological situation and will take decision on lifting restrictions in other fields in stages.
As reported, in order to return Georgian citizens to homeland, special flights will be performed by WizzAir and Muyway Airlines in July. Warsaw-Tbilisi flights will be performed, while flights will be performed next days to the following directions:
July 15 – Barcelona
July 17 – Rome
July 22- Paris
July 28 – Athens
The ticket prices will not exceed 200 EUR.
As for July 13, Georgia has registered 9,095 infected persons, of which 857 persons have been already recovered. 51 persons have died, 5,001 persons remain in quarantine.
