Georgian Dream Party Appoints Giorgi Gakharia as the New Prime Minister of Georgia
Ruling Georgian Dream Party appointed Giorgi Gakharia as the candidate for the post of the Prime Minister of Georgia, at the special briefing held after the sitting of the political council and parliamentary majority.
Since November 13, 2017 he was Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia. In addition, he was appointed secretary of the National Security Council in May 2019.
