Georgia Requests International Assistance in their response to COVID-19
On 3 April, the EADRCC has received a request for international assistance from Georgia in its response to the global pandemic of the coronavirus COVID-19.
According to the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre, Government of Georgia requests additional accommodations, including the full infrastructural and personal equipment, which is needed to fight against coronavirus and maintain medical stations and checkpoints. Government of Georgia requested tents, beds, respirators, thermometers, barbed-wire defences, road blocking barriers, camps, Loud-Hailer/Megaphones and other equipment and inventories.
