Georgia is Set to Launch Coronavirus Close Contact Detector App
The Georgian side is set to launch an app that allows people to check whether they have been at risk of contacting Covid-19 or not.
Deputy Health Minister of Georgia Tamar Gabunia said about it during the meeting.
According to her, such application has already been introduced in many countries, which warns citizens during the fight against coronavirus.
The 'close contact detector' tells users if they have been near a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having the virus.
"We are planning to introduce this model. We have coordination with the Austrian side in this regard. They have shared their model, work is now being done on how to adapt this model and introduce it in our country," Tamar Gabunia notes.
