"Georgia is Ready to Help Armenia by Transferring PCR Tests" - Amiran Gamkrelidze

According to the director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Amiran Gamkrelidze, they are ready to help Armenia by giving them PCR tests.

"As far as I know, telephone conversation will take place this evening between the ministers of healthcare of Georgia and Armenia and the parties will discuss the matters of what requests does Armenia have and how we can help them. As for the Center for Disease Control, we've made an offer, we can test approximately 500-1000 PCR test samples a day or give a certain number of tests as a gift to Armenia.", noted Amiran Gamkrelidze.

According to the Ministry of Healthcare, the virtual conversation was already held and the Armenian party expressed a wish to have a communication with Georgian clinicians and share their experience.
