Georgia Considers Canceling Flights To and From Italy
Head of National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Amiran Gamkrelidze warns inhabitants to avoid all "nonessential travel" to Iran, South Korea, and Italy, and specifically its northern part.
As Gamkrelidze notes, these kinds of recommendations are stated by the U.S and Europe. level 3 health warning for coronavirus is issued in China. Level 2 is determined in South Korea. The warning is especially for the elderly people and/or for the ones who have a chronic disease.
As it is known, Georgia already cancelled direct flights with China and Iran. Gamkrelidze also says, that they consider to spread these kinds of regulations on Italy too. As NCDC determined, every decision made on flights are taken by an assemblage and with examination. Considering Italy, on a surface we have transparency of the country and high reliability prevention, which means, that supposedly, they will manage to stop spreading the virus in the region.
