Free PCR Tests to Start at Batumi Boulevard and Kobuleti Coastline Park
“Under the Coordination Board’s decision, special tents will be installed in Batumi and Kobuleti, where citizens will be able to pass free PCR tests.
So far, we used to examine citizens on COVID-19 in wide target groups, as well as in patients with fever and other symptoms. We have already registered distinct cases with unidentified sources of infection. Therefore, it is expedient to launch an expanded testing campaign”, Nino Nizharadze, Health and Social Protection Minister of Adjara Region noted.
The tents will be installed in the Batumi coastline, near Colonnades and the Ardagani Lake, nearby the Adjarian Khachapuri House. Tents will be also installed in Kobuleti Municipality, on Aghmashenebeli Street, nearby the Park. The testing process will be carried out from 17 o’clock to 22 o’clock.
“Expanded testing campaign will last up to the end of intense tourism season to ensure a safe holidaymaking process. The tests are to timely identify all doubtful cases. Test results will be announced in 24 hours”, Nino Nizharadze noted.
