Elene Naveriani's Film "Wet Sand" is the Winner of the Solothum Film Festival
The winner of the Solothum Film Festival has been revealed. Elene Naverian's film "Wet Sand '' was awarded the prestigious award The Prixs de Soleure.
"Wet Sand" was created with the support of the National Film Center and is a co-production of Switzerland and Georgia.
The world premiere of the film took place in August 2021 at one of the most prestigious Locarno International Film Festivals. At this festival, actor Gia Agumava was awarded for Best Performance in a Male Role.
The Solothurn Film Festival (SFT) is the most important festival for Swiss film production. The festival was founded in 1966 and is held every year.
