Electric Scooter Sharing Service Launched in Tbilisi
From today, the electric scooter sharing service has been launched in Tbilisi. The pilot project belongs to the Georgian startup.
The project was developed by the company ''Scroll' with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall in cooperation with the American company ''Bird''.
A special application (BIRD) and a website (www.scroll.eco) have been created for the use of eco-friendly transport, where the rules for using the scooter and the necessary details for moving are described.
The first ten minutes of the first trip with the electric scooter is free, which the user will be able to activate with a special promo code.
There are special places where electric scooters will be located and anyone who has a downloaded app will easily have the opportunity to use this service.
The electric scooters will be treated with special disinfectants several times a day in full compliance with the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization and Bird. The use of gloves and disinfectant solution is also essential for the user.
Alternative vehicle sharing services are already available in more than 120 cities around the world.
According to Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi City Hall is working in different directions to improve the ecological situation in the capital. According to him, the new project of electric scooters also serves this purpose.
