Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will officially present Eka Tikaradze, the new Minister of Heath to the government administration at 14:00 today.
Speaking at the press conference yesterday, the Prime Minister said that upgrade and additions to the team are priority for them. However, he said Davit Sergeenko is and will be a committed and successful member of the ruling team.
Sergeenko told journalists that he would attend the introduction of the new minister.
"For a few weeks we had consultations and discussed with the Prime Minister what would be the optimal solution to reforming more effectively and intensively.
Today we will have the opportunity and we will make a statement together with the Prime Minister. However, this is not a short-term decision and long consultations have been followed.
I will remain in the team because it holds lots of values. The political decision of this team made tens of thousands of lives possible. I'm not going anywhere, I'm in the team and this is a vision to work with this team, "said David Sergeenko.
