Economy Ministry and Its Staff Moves to Distance Working Mode
As instructed by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and by decision of Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava, on March 13, 2020. the Economy Ministry and its staff will move to the distance working mode as part of the coronavirus spread preventive measures.
“The distance working mode does not signify that the working hours will be cut or the staff will go on vacation. Therefore, working efficiency will not be reduced. At the same time, all employees must appear to job places upon request.
Top and mid-ranking managers of the Ministry and its subdivisions must postpone or cancel all meetings, visits and other events to minimize the virus spread risks.
The decision applies to all employees, excluding those, whose distance working will damage valuable operation of the Ministry and its subdivisions. All these employees will receive individual instructions. This decision does not apply to the Minister and deputy Ministers. They will continue working in usual regime.
The decision is valid until the Economy Minister passes another decision”, the statement by the Economy Ministry reads.
