Duration of Curfew Reduced by 1 Hour Effective from Today

By the decision of the Coordination Council, the duration of the curfew has been reduced by 1 hour and the restriction of movement from today will be effective from 23:00 to 4:00.

Giorgi Ghibradze, the head of the operative headquarters of the Coordination Council, stated about it after the end of the council meeting.

He explained the reason for easing the curfew and noted that the decision serves to facilitate the sale of agricultural products.

According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, the restriction imposed at night to support farmers in the process of selling agricultural products will be from 23:00 to 4:00 from today. "The Interagency Coordination Council continues to take consistent steps in the process of easing restrictions," Ghibradze said.

Asked whether the restriction will be extended to other citizens, he said: "The period of restrictions will apply to any citizen. It was done to promote the sale of agricultural products, but it applies to everyone."
