Distinguished Austrian Writer Robert Menasse to Visit Georgia

Distinguished Austrian writer and essayist Robert Menasse will visit Georgia as part of Tbilisi International Book Festival, which will be held from May 30 to June 1.

His novel “The Capital” has brought the major success to Robert Menasse. This work obtained the title of the best German-language book in 2017.

The writer will address the audience at 13 o’clock on May 30, at the official inauguration of Tbilisi International Book Festival. Om the same day the Capital book will be introduced as part of the Festival in the Pavilion 11 of Expo Georgia.

The main event will start at 19 o’clock on May 31, at the exhibition hall of National Library of Georgia, where Robert Menasse and contemporary Georgian writer Zurab Qarumidze will talk about “European Policy and Poetics”.
