Demna Gvasalia Dresses Stars at MET Gala and Arrives with Kim Kardashian

Many had assumed that the masked man accompanying Kim Kardashian on the red carpet of the Met Gala was her husband Kanye West.

In reality, she was joined by Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia as she arrived at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. It marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. Each year event celebrates the theme of that year Costume Institute exhibition, and the exhibition sets the tone for the formal dress of the night, since guests are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit.

The two wore full masks that covered their entire faces and wore all black outfits from head to toe.

Kim Kardashian was not the only one who wore Balenciaga at Met Gala 2021, as Rihanna and Elliot Page also showed up at Met Gala wearing Balenciaga.
