Curfew Starts at 23:00 from Today
According to the Coordinating Council, from today, May the 17th, the curfew will begin on 23:00 and continue till 05:00.
Until now, the restriction was valid from 21:00 to 05:00.
The curfew went into effect from November 9th, 2020, in the major cities of the country: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori, and Poti.
It should also be noted that several protests were held by both ordinary citizens and the business sector demanding the abolition of the curfew.
