Construction of Educational Hub to Start in Spring 2021

The Center of Excellence, the big professional hub of education will be built in Didi Dighomi, Tbilisi. As noted by David Partsvania, director of the Educational and Research Infrastructure Development Agency told Business Partner, the project will be implemented as part of the City of Education project. The consulting company will be selected in 2020.

The designing works will start in January 2021 and the construction works will be inaugurated in spring 2021, he said. “The Agency has been implementing many other projects, including in Khashuri, Borjomi, Tskaltubo, and Zugdidi. The total value of all projects is around GEL 30 million. Modern-standard campuses will be built as part of the project.

Construction works have been finished in Kaspi and Marneuli. As part of the Agency’s initiative, twenty-six (26) various workshops are being also built that comprise automobile service centers, road infrastructure, agricultural activities (training staff) and so on”, Partsvania noted. We remind you that the Agency is a legal entity of the Ministry of Education and Science. The objective of the agency is to develop educational and research infrastructure in the education sector.
