Colchian Habitats and Wetlands of Georgia Might be Granted with Natural Heritage Site Status

Colchian habitats and wetlands of Georgia might be granted with natural Heritage site status. Therefore, deputy of the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, Iuri Nozadze met experts of ICUN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

On the meeting parties have discussed the matters of working process. Deputy of minister paid attention to Georgian heritage being in the list of UNESCO's world cultural heritage site.

As Iuri Nozadze stated, considering the status of cultural heritage is an unprecedented incident in the region. He hopes, that matter of status will be resolved with the positive result.
