Certain Categories of Coronavirus Patients to Treat in Hotels from Today

Patients infected with coronavirus are also treated in hotels. This decision was made by the interagency council of the government and Minister of Healthcare, Ekaterine Tikaradze introduced it to the public.

"According to the council, COVID-19 patients will be also treated in hotels of Batumi, Tbilisi, and Kutaisi. Patients are already being transferred from hospitals to hotels. We defined a protocol, which will guide our doctors.", noted Ekaterine Tikaradze.

She also mentioned, that patients who are over the age of 65 or under 18, will not be transferred to hotels, and the rest of the patients who do not have a chronic disease will be treated in hotels.
