Cab Drivers to Undergo Mandatory PCR Testing in Georgia
Drivers of any category of taxi will undergo mandatory PCR testing every two weeks.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the decision was made by the Interagency Coordination Council, "Tbilisi Taxi" drivers of both A and B categories will be tested.
According to him, there were unfortunate cases in the capital when infected taxi drivers continued to work.
"In order to be insured, it is important that PCR testing of taxi drivers is done every two weeks," - said the mayor of Tbilisi.
Tbilisi City Hall will submit the relevant legal changes to the City Council for approval. The process will be monitored jointly by the City Hall and the central government.
