Bulgaria Opened the Border with Georgia

According to the order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria of July 30, 2020, Georgia is included in the list of countries whose citizens can enter the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

This order is valid from July 31 to August 31, 2020.

Georgian citizens traveling from EU member states and Schengen member states to Georgia will be able to enter and transit through Bulgaria. Citizens coming from Georgia can also enter Bulgaria. These individuals will not have to go through mandatory quarantine or self-isolation. 

Exceptions are people from the Kingdom of Sweden and Portugal - they will have to submit a COVID (PCR) test certificate in the last 72 hours to enter Bulgaria with a negative result.
