Batumi Republican Clinical Hospital to be Able to Get Patients with Coronavirus from Today

The new building of Batumi Republican Clinical Hospital is already able to receive patients infected with coronavirus.

Medical supplies and equipment, which are necessary to assist patients with coronavirus, are already stored in the hospital.

Tornike Rijvadze, chairman of Adjarian Government and Minister of Healthcare of Adjara examined new techniques and inventories.

"The new Republican Clinical Hospital of Batumi is ready to receive the first patient. In the first place, it will be the so-called "fever-center" and then it will become a maintaining center for COVID-19. It is vitally important for the hospital sector and medical staff to be ready. Thus, we managed to get the necessary equipment for the hospital during the last 10 days. Several business representatives participated in the framework of social responsibility and made their contributions. I want to publicly thank them since this is an occasion of great importance.", declared Tornike Rijvadze.
