Baski Asatiani's Work to be Among Webby Awards Nominees

Work of copywriter Irakli (Baski) Asatiani is presented on 24th annual Webby Awards.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet.

Reflecting the tremendous growth of the Internet, The Webbys now honors excellence in 7 major media types: Websites, Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Social, Apps, Mobile, & Voice, Games, and Podcasts.

The campaign "WeTransfer for Amnesty" is created by Baski Asatiani, Imad El Rayess, and Mubarak Nojimudeen in Miami Ad School two years ago.
There are two chances to win a Webby Award. The Academy vote will choose a Winner in each category based on judges' review and analysis of the Nominees. These entries will receive a Webby Award. One can vote here. Voting is available until May 7th.

The campaign is created to support civil rights activists who are waiting for their trial in prisons and do not know the exact date of the hearing. An additional function is created on WeTransfer called "Transfer for Amnesty", which produces cryptocurrency while transferring files via WeTransfer.

Baski Asatiani is the first Georgian copywriter who finished Miami Ad School. Currently, he works in German agency Jung Von Matt.
