All Restrictions that Government Has Introduced
On November 26 the Georgian Government’s Interdepartmental Coordination Board chaired by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has determined new regulations amid the aggravating epidemiological situation in the country.
Namely:
From November 28 to January 31:
Nationwide restrictions:
1. From 21:00 to 5:00 o’clock, all physical bodies are banned to walk or drive in public spaces; The New Year night of December 31 and Christmas Night of January 6 are exceptions.
Regular intercity transportation of passengers is banned, including by railway, buses, minibus taxis. Restrictions do not apply to light cars, including taxis;
Restaurants and food outlets must use only delivery services.

- Fitness clubs and swimming pools:
- All types of conferences, trainings, culture, entertainment events must be held only in digital format;
- Sports, arts and culture courses/studios activities.
Additional regulations and restrictions for big cities – Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Gori, Poti, Zugdidi, Telavi and ski resorts – Bakuriani, Gudauri, Goderdzi and Mestia
- municipal transport suspends operation in Tbilisi, Telavi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Gori, Poti, Zugdidi;
- Trade outlets (excluding food, forage, pharmacies, veterinary shops, stores of household chemistry and hygiene thing and newspaper booths), must work in digital space.
- Closed and outdoor markets are closed; only agrarian markers continue operation;
- schools, vocational schools and higher schools (excluding medical education programs) must work in digital format;
- Private and public kindergartens are closed;
Furthermore, at ski resorts:
- hotels are admitted to continue operation only as quarantine spaces;
- Skiing tracks and skiing cableways are closed;
From December 24 to January 2 the following restrictions will be alleviated;
Nationwide:
- shopping malls, open and closed markets will restore operation
- Both municipal and intercity transport will resume operation;
January 3 – January 15:
nationwide:
- holidays
- All restrictions running from November 28 to December 24 will be restored.
- public and private offices, excluding commercial banks and strategic facilities and service centers will be closed;

January 16-Janury 31:
- Nationwide:
- Municipal and intercity transport will resume operation, trade outlets and open and closed markets (excluding weekends).
- Weekend transport, trading facilities and markets will be closed.
Through the mentioned period, restrictions will not apply to:
- All other economic activities, including.
- state and private construction-repair works;
- banking and financial business;
- food, forage, pharmacies, veterinary stores, stores of household chemistry and hygienic things and newspaper booths.
- delivery and takeaway services;
- beauty salons and aesthetic medicine centers
- Motorcar service centers and technical inspection centers;
- household equipment repairs;
- Agrarian markets
- And others/
Light cars and taxis are admitted to work.
