After 27 November Georgia Becomes Chairman of Council of Europe

Georgia will be the chairman of Minister Committee of Council of Europe from 27 November to 15 May 2020. The official ceremony will hold on November 27th in Strasbourg. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Davit Zalkaniani will pay an official visit in Strasbourg.

On the matters of chairmanship of minister committee in European Council, the press conference will be held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on November 26th. Also, on this day, detailed information about Georgian priorities in the period of chairmanship and video message of Davit Zalkaniani will be published.

"It is worth mentioning, that this is the first instance when Georgia became chairman country of an international organization. During the 6 months of chairmanship, Georgia will organize approximately 20 events in the framework of Council of Europe.", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declares.
