Active Life is My Passion - People with Disabilities Enjoyed Water-skiing Supported by Socar

The company Socar continues to support the sports project "Active Life is my Passion" intended for people with disabilities.

Organized by Youth Media Connections, and supported by Europebet and Socar, waterskiing took place at Tbilisi Sea Club. Twelve injured military servicemen, veterans, and para-athletes participated in the event, which was hosted by Beer Company - Zedazeni.

Adaptive equipment for water-skiing was created by the first Georgian para-athlete, Goga Kokhreidze and soldiers tested their strength in this type of sport for the first time. According to them, the activity appeared to be successful and adventurous and filled participants with unforgettable experiences despite the difficulties.

Two additional wheelchairs intended for waterskiing will be constructed next year, which can be used by disabled people. The organizers of the event plan to hold a tournament and also increase the number of participants in the future.
