760 Citizens of Georgia Apply for Temporary Employment Opportunities in Israel
Over the past 24 hours, a total of 760 citizens of Georgia seeking temporary employment opportunities in Israel have passed registration on the special portal of workabroad.moh.gov.ge, the Employment Support Agency of Georgia reports.
The registration process started on April 12.
The Government of Israel will provide legal temporary employment opportunities for Georgian citizens as part of the agreement with the Government of Georgia. According to the Agency, the program will run for a period of one year. Namely, 1,000 citizens of Georgia will be able to work at personal care facilities. The selected candidates will work 6 days a week, 42 hours a week. The weekly salaries make up Israeli Shekel 5,300. The employed persons will receive an Israeli visa with a 1-year validity period that may be extended up to 63 months.
