40 Hospitals Arranged for Patients with Fever

According to the Ministry of Healthcare, they already managed to choose 40 regional hospitals, which can assist patients with fever.

In the administration of the government, on the briefing, Tamar Gabunia, Minister deputy noted, that The Georgian Hospital Sector started preparing for increasing cases of coronavirus several days ago. As Gabunia defined, they chose the clinics, which are already treating infected medically. They also marked out the hospitals, which will receive and make an initial evaluation for the patients with fever. 

According to the information provided by the Minister of healthcare, many hospitals were rejecting receiving patients with fever. They were transferred to other hospitals, but, the regional clinics are ready to receive patients with respiratory symptoms and fever with precautions.

As Tamar Gabunia declared, they already identified nearly 40 regional hospitals, in which "Fever Zone" will be separated.

The big hospitals which are mobilized to medically assist patients infected with COVID-19 will continue mobilizing together with increased numbers of infected.

These clinics are maintained in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori, and Zugdidi.

According to the data of March 31th, 110 cases of coronavirus are detected totally. 21 are already restored to health.
